“One Year Later at VT” chronicles Daily Gamecock staff members as they travel to cover the one year commemoration of the shootings at Virginia Tech.

Assistant News Editor Liz Segrist leads the team. She has worked with The Daily Gamecock since her freshman year, rising to assistant news editor during the fall 2007 semester.

News Staff Writer Katie Jones is the reporter on the scene. Katie Jones has been with The Daily Gamecock for two years and has covered the Ocean Isle Beach fire.

Photographer Johnna Duncan is a senior at USC. She joined the staff in spring 2008 and looks to capture the Hokie spirit through her lens.

SGTV member Ed Cahill normally videos Gamecocks sports for his show Capital City Sports. He’s volunteered to lend his quick eye and steady hand to capture video for the Web.
